Benelli RI Rifle

Does any body have any experence with the Benelli RI Rifle? Thanks in advance.

I don't have any experience with it but I know of one person that owns one in 06 and absolutely loves it, accuracy as good if not better then most bolt rifles and better then the BAR he traded to get it. My Local dealer had one on the rack for 1 month and sold it. Another dealer not far from me has had 3 of them sitting there for a long while. I think it is the most innovative semi-auto to come out in a long time and has features that Browning can only dream such as interchangeable barrels, great trigger and a 3 lug lockup along with its light weight. Maintenace on these is a snap .The only thing in my opinion that keeps these from taking off is the styling..that is the only thing keeping me from buying one.

agreed, i used to think the same of the SBEII but its starting to grow on me (in walnut anyway).

the RI doesnt use the inertia system, it is gas operated right?
