I just bought a new Remington 700 BDL in 270 Win. If you hold the bolt just right in the light you can see a little bit of rust. Does anyone know of a way i can get that off. Or do you think my warranty would cover this problem and give me a new bolt. its brand new. Any help is appreciated.
Did you try putting something like "Breakfree" on a cloth and wipeing it down to see if the rust comes off????
That would be my first choise. "If" then i still wasn't happy, i'd either contact Rem., or the dealer where i bought it, and see what they have to say.
