Does anyone know of a company that makes a pump action rifle chambered for .223? I have looked at the Rem 7600 but it does'nt seem to be available in .223.
Wouldn't a pump or a lever action have to have a snub nosed bullet (not to fire the next round in the tube)?
Not in a Pump with a detactable magazine. If it had a tubular magazine yes it would.I don't know of any pump 223's.I think Remington at one time made a pump 223. I'm not 100% sure of that though.

If Remington does release the 7600P,I have a feeling it might be LE only.I would definately find intrest in getting one if it's released for sale to the general public.

Remington made the 760 pump in a .223 caliber. I believe it was released early in the 70's, maybe earlier. My uncle used his over 20 years PA turkey hunting and it shot awesome. Retired it and now shoots his Tikka 512 over/under. They're very rare and cost a bunch to find one in great shape.
Here's short story of some guy who owns one and the short history of it.
