Fun plinking semi auto , Bushmaster or Armalite AR15's
Light bolt action Savage 10FM
Varmit bolt action Savage 12FV
Single shot H&R
This is just a few great 223 rifles, there are lots of others

I just picked up a NEF Handi-Rifle Stainless w/sythetic stocks on sale for $209 last weekend ! Only shot it a few times..........but I think I'm going to love it !!

I've got a Browning A-Bolt composite stalker in .223 that I use for that role. I've got a 3-9x40 Nikon on top of it, so the whole deal makes for a rifle that is easy to carry for long walks out calling predators. Coupled with the right factory ammo, it will easily shoot dime sized groups.
