Default Winchester Super Shadow or Savage in 270 WSM?

Considering a Super Shadow in 270 WSM or a Savage in 270 WSM. Any thoughts or opinions will be helpful. Thanks!

I'll make a assumption that you are looking at the Walmart specials...both are synthetic/blued/heckofadeal/cheapscopes. yes?
If you can track down the staplefaced punk working sporting goods that day, have him open the carrosel and put one to your shoulder...I really like the new Winchester SS stock, the Savage is good too, but some have cheek pieces that don't work for me...because I shoot "different". I sholder a gun to my left shoulder/eye, and cycle/load with my right hand.. weird I know but It works for me. Check out the mag capacity the savage wsm may only hold 2!

Yeah, I'm looking at the Wally World specials. I could care less about the scope on it, since it and the rings will be replaced before firing the gun(assuming thats what I get). I have read quite a bit about the accuarcy of the Savage but I have not heard much about the Winchester.

The Winchesters do seem to have a little nicer finish, a nicer stock, and maybe a little better fit but do not discount the Savage, they are crued and ugly but most are exceptional shooters right from the box.

My buddy just got the Winchester super shadow in .270WSM and it shoots great. He is a begining hunter and he is shooting 1' groups of four at 100 yards. I personally have the savage and I love it as well. They are both great guns and I think you would be happy with either, get the one that fits you better.(in my opinion his Winchester is a little more comfy to handle and shoot)
