Handi Rifle

Anyone had any experience with the single shot Handi Rifles. Thinking about getting a 204 and the prices on a Handi Rifle are good. Is it worth the money, and can you just buy different barrels for it instead of a whole new gun? Thanks

I have 1 in 45/70 with extra barrels in 22 hornet ,44mag , 12 gau and 20 gau.
I love it.
I have a freind that has a Ultra varmiter in 223 and it out shoots his Rem 40x in 223.
IMO it should be a good choice

I don't know about the 204 but in 223 the Handi Rifle will shoot right along side the Sako and Ruger Varmit rifles. Not bad for a 200.00 dollare gun.

I have an Ultra Varmiter in .223. This gun will shoot better than I can hold it. I'm not that hreat of a shot but it will punch many oblong holes at 100 yards. 5 shot groups are averaging about the size of a dime.

Hows the scope mount that comes with it?

The 1 I have ,I had to buy a Weaver base. It had sights.
I think the Ultra Varmiters come with a Weaver base.
You just have to add rings and a scope
