what do you guys think?

i was looking at the bushnell elite series scopes in the 4-12x40 range and i was wondering what you guys thought of them. i also was looking at zeiss, found some nice scopes but about crapped my pants when i saw the prices.

I was in you position just days ago. I too was considoring the Elite series as they are EXTREMELY bright and clear. Awesome warranty also, 1 year---if you don't like...get your money back. Rainguard too. Nice. I opted for the Leupold VX-III only because I've had flawless performance from my other Leupolds thus far. I give the Elite's a big thumbs up! They are as bright as the Zeiss Conquest and less critical in eye position, though a little heavier (1 oz) and a hair longer. (3-9x40's) Go to BearBasin outfitters, they have awesome prices on the Elite's! Good luck.
