My buddy's grandfather has a Walther Side by Side in 16 gague... i've never seen this gun before. He said he got it in Germay from a german soldier in the early 1940's during WWII. Anyone out there know where i can find some info about this gun. Any idea what it might be worth? There doesn't seem to be serial or model numbers on it so i'm not exactally what it is. All i had seen on the barrel was a walther logo and the gague...
I sent Walther an email, the responded saying they didn't have any information or records from guns this old? they referred me to join their community and sent me a link to a site that was in german?
For what it is worth I did attempt to look up a Walther shotgun in my 12th edition of the Gun Digest, found nothing and they do list firearms back to at least th 1920's. Good luck, you might have something there worth hanging on to.
