Win. Model 70?
My grandfatehr gave me his old winchester model 70 featherweight 243. How can you tell if this is pre 64 and how much do you think it is worth?

RE: Win. Model 70?
I should note that i would never even consider selling this gun. I am just curious what it is worth.

Go to this web site:
http://oldguns.net/cgi-bin/f2f/f2f.p...et/q&a2_97.htm
On the left side scroll down to Manufacture Dates. Under Winchester you should be able to determine year of manufacture. Can't comment on worth.
