Default RE: new gun

I own the A-bolt in 7mm-08... I love the 7mm-08 it is probably one of the true whitetail deer cartridges out there along with the 257 roberts and 260.

Possitives with the browning = great fit/finish, matte barrel (personal), low bolt angle (60 degrees), and nice ballance (again personal). I am not very pleased with the accuracy out of mine, 1.5 inches at best, and for that price I think the barrel should be free floated and the action bedded right out of the box. I like the gun, but I will probably have this done to mine in the not to distant future. If I were you I might look at a Sako 75 hunter for a little more, or possibly a Weatherby Mark V or Kimber 84, but all those will cost a couple hundred more.
