Finally got my rifle

Finally went to the gun shop and paid off my Browning A-Bolt .270 medallion edition. I have not fired it yet, but I love the feel of this gun already, cant wait to get to the range.

I am considering picking up a .17 Mach 2 a friend of mine won one and it looks like a great little round for small game or plinking, has anyone here fired one or used one for hunting?

What made you decide on the Browning? Kill something big with it.

Id love to have one myself super nice rifle. Dont know anything about the .17 but have only seen positive posts on it. Congrats on your Browning

Sounds like a nice gun! I've never had a Browning Rifle but I like my Browning Bow...hehe!

I don't know much about the .17 either other than I see alot of spent cases at the range and knowing how often that gets cleaned there are either a lot of guys with 'em or one guy that REALLY likes shooting his.

Bearhunter, I had actually gone to the gun dealer to see about getting a Ruger No 1 ordered for me. He showed me the Browning and offered it to me for what he had paid for it which was 200 dollars less than list price. He ordered it for a group to raffel off and ended up with 2 of them so he sold me this one. I couldnt pass up on the gun at this price. Plus Browning is a good quality name. Thursday at the range I will know if it shoots as good as the name.
