Default A question

I posted this in a different forum but only got one response and i wanted to hear from several others to find others opinions, the michigan opener is monday and i recently made sure my H&R Ultra Slug Hunter was sighted in, then i took it apart, removing the barrel from the frame and the foregrip off, i then cleaned it and reassembled, is this going to through the point of impact off a lot or wouldn't you notice it when hunting deer? I shot a box, i found 4 hits out of 5 in a 2 inch group at 50 yards, i figured the 5th one hit almost the same spot is another because there was a hole that was just a hair bigger than the rest and we could not find where it hit, do you think this is an acceptable group for deer from a slug gun?

First, yes, a 2" group is not bad at 50yds. Limit your shots to approx. 100yds and you should be okay.
Second, not a good idea to take the gun apart after sighting in, and right before going off to hunt. Hopefully, she'll be shooting to same POI as before. Some guns are better
for this than others, but never hurts to check. If you have the time I'd take her out Sunday afternoon, and recheck the sight in (especially since you removed & re-installed
the barrel). If you need to re-zero/sight in, do it, and don't clean it till after your done
hunting with it. It should be okay for a week or two. At least don't take it apart to clean
again till you're done.

Hello, after dissassembling it, i fired 5 shots, i found 4 , the 5th one is still a mystery...the first one went were i hit, the second one, im not sure were it hit, the first hole was slightly larger than the rest so we figured that it almost hit the same hole, the third hit right were i was aiming and the last 2 were about 1 inch lower from were i was aiming but i think this was due to flinching, this seems pretty good to me, i didn't take it apart this time, but i did run a bore mop down it once to get rid of the debris left by the slugs...
