RE: anyone shoot a mossberg 695 slug gun?
My friend and I both have one. It is a great slug gun for the money but it is not in production anymore. You could probably pick up a used one cheap. I think it kicks you pretty good with the higher velocity loads also. Stick with copper solids and it will be fine. I've dropped 4 deer with mine. The bolt is a little hard to cycle on the second shot. Maybe that is just mine but when the adrenaline is pumping, I don't notice it. I would definately suggest a trigger job. Mine was between 9-10 pounds and very rough. I had a gunsmith work on it and it is now a smooth 4-1/2 pounds. The accuracy improved greatly.
