I agree! the 444 Marlin is my favorite brush gun, but with groups like that at 100 yds I may have underestimated its range. I was fortunate enough to kill an 8-point Thanksgiving day with it.

I have had mine since the mid 70's Here is a five shot group.

I have a combination gun in 12 guage over a 444 Marlin, and it also shoots very well!!!

It's also great to have a full line of "light weight" pistol bullets available for small or smaller game too.

Useing proper bullets, the 444 Marlin is a great big game round, out to 150 yards or so...
