Of the ones you listed I would get a .223. Just my opinion!
I live where there is lots of wind(everyday) and I have not been impressed with the other two calibers you listed.
Ammo is cheaper also.
I'd take the 223 just for the vast supply of components available and its proven accuracy.
The 204 may prove to be accurate in the future, who knows? It looks like a bbl burnder to me. 17 rimfire is to expensive for my tastes.
I'd take any Bull barreled rifle other than a Ruger, unless it was a #1

What I've read lately and seen on TV, the 204 Ruger s an exceptional round. I have a 204 Encore rifle but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.......own a 223 and a 22-250 also....
I'd take any Bull barreled rifle other than a Ruger,
Out of curiousity, why not Ruger?
I have an M77VT MkII .22-250 that will shoot 1/2 MOA with handloads (50gr Nosler BT over 35.7gr Varget in a Winchester case). It'll do just under 1 MOA with the cheap Winchester white box 45gr JHP varmint factory loads. It doesn't get much better than that, especially with a factory rifle costing <$600.
No offense to anyone it is just a personal deal of my own. If you got a good one great, keep it.
Over the years I have heard more complaints and sent more Ruger bolt actions back for repair than any other gun on the rack, I believe they are just a bit over priced for what you get and I personally ain't going to take a chance with them when there are other choices.
