Help identifying small old handgun

I'm not sure if this is the right place to be asking for help on this gun. I've been told it's a boot gun from the 1800's. About 7" long. Trigger folds in. Rod pushes in (I guess to expell old shell). Lever lifts up to load. Barrel is hexagonal 3" long.

Sorry I know nothing about guns. Can someone help me identify this or point me to a better place?

Any markings? Looks to be a pinfire, very possible Belgian.

Only markings are "35", small circle with "LG" and a star under it on the revolver.

I agree with Charley that this is a Belgian Pinfire. I will add that it is 7mm and the markings that you descibe are Leige Proof Marks.

I saw one on another site some time back in similiar condition as yours. The asking price was $450.00

In virginia you can put an add in the trading post. There are no registration requirements for the resale of guns. You could also take it to a gun store or gun show if you wanted. Or you could put in on Gunbroker.com, or one of those type web sites. You have to do some reading if you opt for the internet sale because you will likely be crossing state lines when you ship it so it would have to go to a licensed dealer to make the transfer.
