The lawyer, 9mm and a bear

All this chatter regarding which caliber would be sufficent for a bear on my thread reminded me of a joke, I hope you all don't mind me posting it in this forum.

Lawyer from L.A. goes to Wyoming to do some hiking and while in a hardware store getting some supplies he tells the local clerk his plans. The clerk say's "watch out for the bears out there" the lawyer replies
"I'm not worried, I've got my trusty 9mm with me"
The clerk asks to see his pistol and upon inspecting it he say's "well it's not quite ready" The lawyer looking confused ask's why,
the clerks say's "you've forgotten to file down the front sights"
Even more confused the lawyer ask's why he needs to do that
the clerks say's
"when that pissed off bear shoves that thing up your ass it won't hurt so bad!!"

That's a good one. I have heard more than my fair share of lawyer jokes, but I haven't heard that one.
