Hornady Heavy mag Ammo

I was wondering if many of you shot the Hornady Hvy Mag rounds,I was thinking of try them in my .338 Win Mag.,they are not as pricey as the 210 gr Nosler I normaly shoot.

I was wondering what kind of accuracy you all were getting,I know it will be diffrent with each gun but I was just wanting a general opion.

I shoot a Winchester Modle 70 Stainless Synthetic.

As a rule I have had more luck accuracy wise with them then with Federal Premiums. I would try both and see which one works out best as your results may vary.

Gotta put another vote that you just have to buy a box and shoot it. My gun doesn't shoot the Hornaday factory loads very well.

I have tried this load in three different 338's one shoots the load very accurately putting three shots in less than an inch. One shoots the load at about 1.75 inches and the other looks really ugly, about 3 inches. It is a great load, but it may not work in your gun. Give a box a try.
