Savage model 12BLVSS?

I was wondering if anyone has shot savages model 12 BLVSS or know anyone who has. What are your or their thoughts on it and it performance? Is it a good varmint rifle or too heavy?

I have one, and like it. So far, it doesn't seem to like the Winchester Ballistic Silvertips to much, but it loves the cheap stuff. I think they're Winchester high velocity, comes in boxes of 40. 5 rounds in a once inch circle.

I topped it off with a Bushnell Elite 8x32 and Warne bases and rings. The accutrigger is nice. The bolt is a little stiff, but that's about it.

I hear good things about the Howa varmint rifles. I like their heavy barreled model with the thumbhole stock. I haven't been able to come up with good reason for having two varmint rifles yet though.
