I was looking through cabela's website at sabot slugs. Getting prices, and seeing whats new. I saw a new Remington Hevi shot sabot slug listed for $9.99/5. I looked on Remington's website for specs on it. It is not listed on their. Only Hevi shot buckshot is. Anybody heard anything on these. They have 1-1/8oz slug. Thats about all I know. Thanks
Never tried them. Can't see the rationale either. An ounce of lead is all the heavy I need in a slug. Can't imagine they shoot any better than anything else that uses the same slug/sabot configuration, simply because the slug material is denser than lead.
