Savage mkII 22lr?

I have one of these. I use it for plinking at the range with Wolf Target Match ammo, I've made 10-shot groups that are just jagged holes. My only complaint is that the trigger is really stiff--much more stiff than my Remington 700BDL. The accuracy with the right ammo is comparable to my friends Kimber SuperAmerica for about $1300 less!
