Default 22 derringer

Anybody producing a well made 22 derringer these days?

Not that I know of anymore. Keep an eye open for a High Standard model DM 101. They were a 22 mag derringer.I see them now and then but they are getting expensive.

There are quite a few actually, and a few pocket pistol .22lrs to boot!!

Cobra makes one (formerly davis), and I think Bond makes one. There are far fewer double action models available than SA's, but the reason they're so predominant is Cowboy Action Shooting sports.

Nomercy he said well made. The Davis is and was a piece of crap.Small pockets pistol are plentiful. I have a Beretta M21A in 22 LR that fits my front pocket like a glove.Of the little derringers the only one I would consider is the old High Standard DM101.There is another brand of derringers . I can't remember which they are. Supposedly a decent gun but in the high price range.

I agree with RR, the Davis(Cobra) is junk!! Along with the ones from Bond and High Standard, another company making quality derringers is the American Derringer Co, but I don't know if they offer them in 22cal. If you're not set on a derringer, check out the mini revolvers from North American Arms or look for a used mini from Freedom Arms. They're actually smaller than a derringer and you've got 3 more rounds.

American Derringer makes a decent one.Davis? I agree with the rest(But I have one in .32 auto.Same size as the .22) About the best I have seen is the High Standard.

That would be one fine pocket cannon. That would make most anything stand at attention.I just hope you wouldn't need to get a couple fast shots off. That could or would create a problem.
