Would you happen to know of a .410 pistol? Im going to be rabbit hunting on my land, and there wont be much running shots, or long shots. They are pretty much used to us being around, and I can get within 10 yards of them. I want something smaller, and hopefully cheaper than a shotgun.
The T/C Contender has a Bbl. in 45 LC/ 410
Plus you have the option of a whole lot of other bbls.

A friend of mine had a double barrel .410, with sawed off stock and barrels. Looked sweet, but I'm guessing it was very much illegal. It was probably about 10 inches long.
I know there's a boat load of .410/45acp derringers out on the market.
You don't really want a .410 pistol, they're not good for a whole lot....I had a BFR .45-70 that could run .410's in it, it SUCKED with .410 shells...you get a man sized spread at 6ft., and typically, you're limited to 2.5" shells
A .45colt with shotshells would be about the same, and for what it's worth, any revolver or pistol could take rabbits at 10yrds, shooting bullets. Millenium revolver .45colt from cabelas can be had for $250 or so. I hunt rabbits a good deal with a .45acp, over powered? Yes. Fun? Yes. Cheap? Yes. Effective? YOU BET!!!
The single shot "Snake charmer" is a LOT of fun, they can be had new for $125, they're probably only 28" long? I've got one in the safe at home, it's good for dove and rabbits with 3" shells, I've also used it for skunks and other pests. NEF makes a similar gun, the topper or trapper or something like that, a full stock on it though, so it's a little longer.
