About ANY load that shoots well in your rifle would be fine for deer. Buy a box each of several different brands of ammo, in bullet weights ranging from 150 to 180 grains, spend a day at the range, and use the load you rifle shoots most accurately.
In my shiny new 700 BDL, Remington 165 grain CoreLokts group about 1.5" or less at 100 yards, and using these same bullets in handloads I can keep them under an inch.
Deer aren't all that tough of a critter, and if you can put your shot in the heart/lung area you'll bring 'em down. Premium bullets are more than likely a waste of money.
Good hunting!
