Default which gun to use

I live in southwest virginia with thick woods and i was wandering which gun you would use out of these four that i have.
--- remington 700 synthetic 243win
--- remington 700 wood 30-06
--- marling cowboy 30-30
--- yugoslovian sks 7.62-39

The 30.06 with a 180 grain, round nose bullet. Stay away from the pointed soft point or plastic tipped bullets. The round nose is less likley to be diverted by brush you didn't see before you touched off the round. The pointed varities tend to deflect or begin to expand on contact with anything between the barrel and target.

i hate to tell you this, but none of the guns listed are your best choice for this situation, looks like you need to buy a new gun. if you need to show this to the wife that will be okif she dosen't bite go with the 06, it'll work dang near anywhere and on anything..
