Stoeger shotgun?

I have been looking at auto shotguns and like the Browning gold but, a little pricey right now. I looked at the Mossburg 935, an off brand (Russian, I think) and the Stoeger line. I am leaning toward the Stoeger but have zero knowledge with this line. Could anyone shed some light on the Stoegers. Don

As far as I know, Stoeger uses the same type of actions as Benelli Semi-autos. Good luck.

I have a Stoeger 2000 (12 ga.), it came with 5 choke tubes and it's in the camo pattern.

Bought this gun last year, didn't really need it but got it at a great price, $385.00. For that amount I figured if I only got a few years use out of it I wouldn't be out to much. I have used it for turkey, duck, squirrel, dove, and goose hunting, in all kinds of weather. To this date I have not had a problem with it.

I have three friends that also bought the same gun and they all swear it is a terrible kicking gun. Personally I don't agree, however, it is a lite shotgun and to some it may kick more than they like.

The most important reason I bought it is, its' internal action is the same as a Binelli and licensed by Binelli.
