Some Advice please

Im thinking of buying a 700 ADL Bolt action 270, 700 ADL 30-06, or a m77 ruger. which one should i get looking for some advice.Thank you.

I like Rugers, mine was made in 1989-1990 or so.

Go with the one you like best.

As for caliber, I have never owned a 270, but they are fine for a wide range of applications. I have a 30/06, and it is also a great all 'round gun, and can handle some things better than the 270. If you are mainly a deer hunter, toss a coin. If you plan to hunt heavier game on a regular basis, the '06 is a better choice, especially if you don't plan to handload. Plenty of elk have been taken with a 270. Heck, buy both.

Lol both i would in the long run but only getting one now. Thanks for the advice i will look to it more in detail in about 2 weeks when i go get my "BABY" i mean rifle.

NEWB - go to every gun shop you can find and handle every model you can get your hands on. Buy the model that feels best for YOU. Look at safety location/function, action type bolt, single shot, pump, auto. Whatever feels most comfortable to you, its really prefference.
