Default Another Ruger #1 question

Seeing that there could be forearm issues with the Ruger #1, do I need to be careful while carrying the rifle with a sling and can I mount a bipod without signifcantly effecting accuracy. My #1 7mm mag is a tack driver and I don't want to mess it up.

Default RE: Another Ruger #1 question

That 1b is tip bedded and I would be leery on that particular rifle. They seem at least to me to be a little sensitive to materials that you would rest your foreend on. I usually rest the foreend on my left hand and go that route and it shoots fine. Only one way to find out though.
