Default 204?

Ok with all the topics about the use of 22cf on deer.
lets open another can of worms.
How many people think the 204 is ok for deer.
Or is it just to small?

I think we have beat this dead horse enough. Use some common sense and go 6mm or bigger.

Frizzellr

I am not realy trying to beat a dead horse.
I was just wondering did any of the "223 is grate " for deer crowd would say the 204 is not ok.
In my ballistic chart the 204 is equal to the 223 in some loadings.

Nothing wrong with the question. To answer it, you'll be surprised, I say no, you can't, shouldn't, whatever. Why? They don't make a bullet heavy enough, or strong enough for the job. But they do for a .223 or 22-250. I would never think about shooting a deer with anything less than a 50gr barnes, or 60gr Partition. There even are some custom bullets heavier that would be even better

Please. This debate about undersized rounds has gone on long enough.
