Default Winchester M70 Bolt Release Question?

Does the button to release the bolt wiggle side to side on your m70? Just checking becuase its my first m70 and not to familiar with it. Also this rifle is brand new and i notice on the magazine where u actuall snap the shells into there is a little brownish scratches. There not even like scratches just like little browning burrs but there barley noticeable. Is that just from the factory? Thanks
