Default Cleaning the chamber

What is the best way to clean the chamber of a bolt action 223? I have a Tiikka T3 Hunter.

Thanks,
Kory

Unless I am having chambering or other problems I just clean with a patch with solvent .

I guess I wasn't very clear when I asked my question. What I meant was what cleaning gizmo do you use to clean the chamber. For example, how do you scrub the inside of the chamber with the patch. A normal jag won't work, I don't think??

Thanks,
Kory

You could use one of those shotgun swabs- a swab for 410 should work ok. I use a .45 brush for rifles with a bigger cartridge.

You can buy a chamber brush from Brownells or use a shotgun swab any number of ways to do it. Just be careful you don't want to scratch that area or any part of the barrel.
