I'll be mounting my Zeiss Diavari 3-12x56 on the Sauer. Great scope, great service.

I currently have a vx-3 and a varix-3(both 2.5-8x38) on my two rifles and a zeiss conquest 3-9x40 on my muzzleloader. Side by side, the leupys are actually a little brighter in low light than the conquest but the conquest is a little clearer and no wavy distortion like the leupys w/ a wider FOV aswell. I may sell the VX-3 after this season and replace it with a zeiss.

I own Weaver, Leupold and Burris scopes. I like the Burris Fullfield IIparticularly becasue as you increase the scopes magnification, the eyerelief changes only very little.

I voted "Other" since you don't have Nikon or Burris on the list.

Cannot beat a leopold Mark 4. If it is good enough for my brother in the army ranger sniper school, it is good enough for me. All i can say is that if you don't know how to read mil dots you should learn.
