got my .25-06 barrel for my encore rifle

the barrel is 24" long and blued , with fully adjustable open sites. the barrel is also a little on the heavy side and has a recessed crowned muzzle.i didn't know how this would look but , the realtree camo stock , and the matte stainless steel frame , and the blued barrel really in my opinion look good together. it's a very handsome looking combination together , the fit and finish is excellent and it works great. now i'm starting to think about more barrels. as soon as i get a chance i'll take her to the range and put a few rounds through her.

BTW- does anybody here know if hornady light magnum ammo is ok for use in a t/c encore rifle ??

Sounds like a nice toy ,I think the hornday LM ammo is ok for everything but semiauto rifles and a few weak BA rifles like 96 mauser in 6.5 x 55

I am about ready to pick my Encore up from Lay Away. It has a 45-70 barrel. I am going to pick up a 50 cal Muzzle loader barrel and a 260 barrel 26 inches long and maybe a 260 pistol barrel or a 7mm-08 barrel. Good luck with yours.
