Default sticky bolt ~ HELP

the bolt on my ruger markII M77 .223 is really hard to work. only when pushing the bolt all the way down or lifting it up though. i have to hit it pretty hard to make it work. maybe its the ammo though because its just been hard to work since ive started shooting WOLF 55gr but the bolt worked fine when i was using winchester or remington ammo. i found some of my other ammo around and the bolt worked fine with it, just seems to be the Wolf ammo causing the problem.....any suggestions or any advise on how to fix it???

THANKS

Yea, don't shoot Wolf. Your headspace might be a little on the tight side for that ammo. If your concerned, have a gunsmith put a no go gauge in to see what you headspace looks like.

If one type of ammo/brand is causing a "sticky" bolt STO shooting it . Either high pressure or case expantion ,don't think steel cases expand mutch.

I have heard that wolf ammo is coated with something, maybe lacquer? Anyway, i have heard it can really gum things up. Try cleaning the chamber with a solvent that will cut whatever that junk is, and see if you still have trouble. If so, I'd get rid of the crap. You could talk to some experienced folks here to figure out if there is a pressure issue.
