Default Winchester 94

I was just wondering if anyone had ever heard of a Winchester 94 12 guage?

No, Not that there isn't such a thing, but I think the standard 94 dimensions would not accommodate 12 Ga. ammo. Don't know about pressures either.

They are making a 94 in .410.

There are two possibilities;

First, there is a Win 94 chambered in 410. Shoots standard 410 shotgun shells pretty well from what I am told.

The other is that you are referring to a Winchester Model 97. That was a shotgun, and a great model too. Actually was the Model 1897, most call a model 97. Was chambered in 12 and 16 guage.

my bad ahankster was right, it was a Winchester 97 and it is a great gun. Sorry for any confusion

the winchester lever action 12 guage shotgun your talking about wasn't a 1894 it was the john browning designed

winchester model 1887 lever action shotgun , it was available in 12 and 10 guage

the winchester leveraction based on the model 94 is the model 9410 , in .410 bore

Functionally impossible!! The 94 action is big enough for a round the diameter of, say, the .45 Colt as a MAX. This means that for shotgun shells, it can't digest anything bigger than a .410!
