Default need xtreme help!!!!

hey all i just got back from tryin some .22 shells i just bought. remington golden bullets, xperts, stingers, wildcats, federal classics and cci shorts. the gun is sighted in for 50 yards with the "normal" ones but with the stingers they shot 7" high and the shorts shot 4" high. is this normal? they grouped good but shot really high.

now the part i need help with is the bolt handle came right off the bolt of my gun!!! its a north america arms single shot .22 bolt...looks like it was glued there with sumthin be4. how do i reattach it?

thanx for the help

Yes that is normal different speeds and bullet weights. I would first try the factory for a new bolt part. A gunsmith could solder it back on if the metal will take it . As a last ditch solution I would "glue it "back on with a auto body adhesive , you can get it at some parts stores . They "glue" new cars together at the factory and some guns ,maybe yours. It looks like 2 part epoxey

Well if you think it"™s glued, you could clean up both parts and use the loctite adhesive. This is not the blue loctite used for threads. We use this adhesive all the time at work for gluing metal parts when it has to be permanent.

i showed it to my dad today and he said that it was cold soldered on. im not too upset cuz i only gave a guy a 12pack of beer for the gun but it'll shoot 3/4" groups all day at 50 yards so i wanna keep the gun...

plus im sopose to be gettin my marlin 17v .17hmr this friday so i will be givin this gun/scope to my gf for squirell hunting and target shooting.

i guess ill goto the big hardware stores around here to see wut they got....ive never heard of cold soldering....

Yep, thats stingers for ya. I love em. I get 1.5-2" 10 shot groups with stingers at 50 yards, which I am extreamely happy with. Nothing else shot that good. I tried them all, from Federal Gold metal to PMC's.

Try some JB-Weld to reattach it.

When bolt handles are welded on, a heat sink is used to prevent the heat from weakening the bolt.
