Legacy Howa M-1500 Youth

2 years ago I purchased a Legacy Howa M-1500 Youth .243 for my wife, Thus far it has performed flawlessly and my wife loves it. I am now getting ready to purchase a gun in 7mm-08 for my daughter and was considering another Howa. The price is real good on them right know. I was wondering what other people thought of this gun. I understand that it is basicaly a Weatherby Vangaurd. thanks for any help you can give me.

I've heard nothing negative about howa's. they are cheaper so your not going to get the quality of a Dakota or jerritt custom, but none of the big guys will either.

Do a search on the forums for Howa, you'll find mostly positive responses. Add to that the fact that you already have one and are happy with it, I'd say stick with what you know and go for it.
