what is the biggest and baddest handgun made

i have heard of the model 29 S&W 44 mag .

Probably a 375HH in a Encore pistol. With a muzzlebreak and mercury recoil reducer, it was easier than a 454 Cassull. I would have never believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes at Hap Baker, rifle range in MD. What was even more funny is the guy who shoots it is like 140lbs and about 70 years old. I think they call him big gun mike or something like that.

Most likely the biggest, baddest handgun made is the one you get shot with. It may not be the biggest or the baddest, but you will definitely think it is. [8D]

I saw pictures from the SHOT show of a 50 BMG pistol, I wouldn't want to try to hang on to it.

I don't know about "biggest", but if it isn't the "baddest", it's pretty darn close.... the American Derringer 45-70 in both barrels!! (16 oz!)

I've seen a 45/70 revolver. When I saw that the thought that went through my mind is that kinetic energy goes both ways, but a derringer in the cartridge? extra ouch[]
