I have been trying to find a direct fit Limb Saver for my 7 mag. I can't find one for the synthetic stock though. The one that is available for a wood stock will not fit on my synthetic stock. I am trying to avoid buying a slip on. Can anyone help me find it or suggest a direct fit that is comparable. Thanks in advance.
Pachmayr makes one for the synthetic stocked Winchesters pre 99 and post 99.
Brownells has them both.
Part number 690-601-718 for the pre 99
Part number 690-000-008 for the post 99
Just type in the number you need in their "search products".
I checked limb savers web site and the only Winchester synthetic stock they make a pad for is the 1300 shot gun. Pachmayr is a better pad any how.
