Had one put on my 300Ultra. Best thing I've done. Had the 'slimline' brake installed. Looks great and now it recoils like a .308. Loud? You betcha! I always use plugs AND muffs while on the range and did so before I got the brake. Mine came with a thread protector ring so I can remove the brake when hunting to reduce the noise. Shot it with and without the brake and didn't see any difference in point of impact. Best $185 I've spent on a rifle!

Brakes work well but are LOUD!!!!
