Got a Kimber that I want to put an Ambidextrious safety on I know I will have tohave the notch milled into the slide.What i want to know is does the smith have to install the saftey or is it pretty simple?Also can you put on an ambi- mag. release.

Swampdog, I have a colt 1991A1 that I have been woking on and any parts like that I have my gunsmith do. He will not beable to mill th slide without putting in the saftey to see if it fits.
