I have a savage mod.112 vss. It has the heavy varmint/benchrest barrel on it, I am not happy with the stock on it, I would like to get one that is synthetic, has a monte carlo cheekpiece on it, and has a wide flat benchrest style fore end on it. I know where I "might" be able to find one, but was wondering if any of you guys may know of a place where I could find one for sure.
I don't think they make synthetic, But they make laminated stocks of just about any style you want .You have to do some fine tuning ( actually a lot ) .But you might try Richards micro fit. I must be loosing it I put williams instead of Richards.Sorry

Why not just call Savage and see if they can supply you with one?

I'm not as good as I'm gonna get - but I'm better than I used to be. "Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil - it has no point."
My one true complaint about Savage rifles is their stocks. I replaced two of mine with laminate stocks from Richard's and I will never purposely have another wood or synthetic stock again. Laminate gives you the best of both worlds. The website to Richard's Microfit is www.rifle-stocks.com
Wow! Thanks Frizz, those are 2 awesome web sites, I could Kiss you[8D]. Well maybe not[:'(]! Thanks to all of you guys, I'm looking forward to making my decision.
