You'll have to be a little more specific! There are a dozen or so 7MM's around today! All good too, I might add! I shoot the 7MM Rem. mag. It is the best of the lot IMO!

Shot my first buck in 1975 with a rem mag, still have that gun, still my favorite. Have three others from different makes as well. Never had to track anything yet with it, drops em' where they stand.

I've owned five 7mm Rem Mags. My first was a Browning BBR I bought around 1979 and my last is a Sako 75 I bought a couple of years ago. The Sako is the one I like the most and is the only 7 mag I still own.
The 7mm Rem Mag is a good cartridge, but then so are lots of other cartridges.
I have a 7MM08 & like it alot. Shoots more than flat enough for my needs with a relitively mild recoil. Heck, my wife even likes shooting it. Says it kicks less then my 30/30, tho I believe thats more due to stock design than anything else.

I have a Weatherby Accumark in 7mm Remington Mag. and its the best all around cartridge you will ever find. Some say the 300 Mag. is better for bear but there is nothing the 7mm can´t take, at least in America.
Probably the 7mm is not the best caliber for an african hunt, but my opinion is that it can take most of the common game there too (antelope, leopard, lion etc.)
Just my 2 cents...

I have a 7mm rem mag, and I love it. I shot my elk last year at a run at 325 yards, and it worked awesome! My 7 mag shoots flat, far, fast, and it hits pretty hard.
