Default remington introduces , .25-06 , 7mm-08 , and .35 whelen in limited editions

remington has started to make a limited edition of the remington 7600 pump with a dark laminated stock in .25-06 and 7mm-08 calibers once again , and is offering the .35 whelen in the walnut stocked version once again , as well as chambering the whelen in the new m700 cdl

i rather like these limited editions , anybody else have any feedback on these guns

I know just about everybody here looks at the Rem. Semi autos as Jammomatics, but I am just a little curious to see a few of the opinions on the Pumps they put out if a few of you don't mind sharing. Thanks

Yup I'm sure that someday they will be highly colectable like the 1 out of 1000 Winchesters. Not!

I would have to agree with otis on the pumps, they seem to be OK.
I heard about the 35 whelen in the cdl about 6 months ago. Last I was told is it would fall at the earliest before I can get one.
Has anyone heard differantly.

Most of the Remington pumps I have shot have been accurate enough for most hunting. On average 2" groups at 100 yards

If you were to judge the 7600 pump and autoloader on field results only, You would think they were made by 2 different manufacturers. I think the 7600 is a sweet reliable underrated hunting rifle pure and simple.

I had a Remington pump in a 270 and have always regretted selling it. Never had any problems with it and I was getting 1" groups at 100 yards. Out of all the rifles I had the pump is the one I wish I still had.

Wouldn't mind having one of those .35 Whelen CDL's. None of the gun shops near me have it, though. Not that I could afford it right now, anyway. Oh, well....
