I have not tried it, but their is a product called Goo-be-gone. IT works great on stuff like dried paint and old gum. Stickers on kids clothes that have went thru the dryer, anyone with kids know what I'm talking about!

What glue are you talking about? I have never seen a recoil pad that was glued on or came with glue on or in it. A little confused?[8D] Which aint unusual.

I have seen plastic but pads that were glued on but not a real recoil pad.

My Weatherby Accumark had a glued on Pachmyer pad and I wanted to put sims pad on. I tried myself and damaged my composite stock- I would take it to a gunsmith. Williams gunsight here in MI did the whole job for $55. They said you need to heat them to seperate from the plastic backing- Scary![]
