Those rifles are very light, but they are also very nice, reliable, and accurate too. If you are going to buy a larger caliber, be prepared to take the punishment. I think these rifles would be excellent deer/antelope/coyote/sheep rifles in 25-06, .270, .260, or .280.

Thanks for the reply!

I'm not big on lightweight rifles but the compromise is what it's gonna take to have a super fast-handling bolt with a low X scope. I'll be all over a mountain rifle but if the recoil isn't too crazy I won't disregard a titanium.

Added since initial inquiry:
Reliability = titanium- anything to worry about?
Too light = it's a very light rifle (!!!) & I'd only consider a .260.
Cost = they seem to go for around $800. Right?

i just got the 700 in 260, it is light and very well balanced, the kick is not bad at all and it shot 3/4 inch out of the box with federal 140's i will reload some 120-125's and see how it does. the idea of this rifle with a 2x7 scope and still around 6 lbs was and is apealing for me, the mtns are getting taller and steeper, any help i can get will be apreciated. The 260 had some great write ups as far as acuacy and game getting ability....
