Default Too Many Choices!

I saw an interesting blurb on TV today. A fellow had written a book about the fact that we have "Too Many Choices" in many things these days. And how having too many effects people.

He claims that there are some peolpe who will pick one type or brand and if it "does the job" they are happy with it. Some pick one type and then convince themselves it is definatley the "best one" and they tell everyone it is the best. Some are looking for the best and feel that one of the options must be the best but they are very frustrated cause they don't know which one is "the best".

Made me think of all the (too many) cartridges avalible to hunters and shooters today. We are always debating "which is the best deer cartridge?" or "which is the best all around Big Game cartridge?"

Then if you do deside you want a 12 ga. scatter gun.....which make and model is the best?

That's why this is a hobbie. We have stuff we don't need. I have more guns than I need and less guns than I want. The same with guitars. We are spoiled and love it that way. I spend too much money on my 69 chevelle. Do I need it?....No. But it sure is fun.

I work hard for my money with two jobs. My second job is fun money. The wife never says a thing about what I spend it on..........oh yes.....I love my part time job best.

I somewhat agree. Its hard for a Gun addict like me to make choices nowadays. However I wouldn't want it any other way. The inferior stuff will get weeded out. Although there is a demand for rifles from the NEF single shots to the Highest end custom guns. I wouldn't want to give up any of my rifles but I could hunt anywhere in NA with confidence with my 45-70 and 280. And of course my 223 for the small stuff.
