Default Rifles for mulie and pronghorn

OK guys - want to see what the consensus is on this one. I'm heading out to WY this fall for a mulie/pronghorn combo hunt. I want to take two rifles out and cross pack with my friend in case the airlines loose a case in transit. My question is what two rifles would you take? The calibers to choose from are .270, 7mm-08, and 300 Win Mag.
Bullet weights are 130 gr, 150 gr and 180 gr respectfully.

I would take the 270 and 7mm08. Either is more than enough gun and both have plenty of range for any distance that a guy should be shooting at a game animal. The 270 was made for that kind of a hunt. I have shot quite a few proghorn with a 243 and 257 Roberts. I have killed many Mule deer with the 257 Roberts so the two you mentioned both have plenty of what it takes.

I'd pick the most accurate 2, the 2 you shoot best. The calibers are all pretty close and won't matter to the animal. Performance should be similar too. Just choose your favorites of the two (this is why guns are better than women).

I would use a 7mm STW, or RUM with a 150 gr. premium bullet. Good luck.

If they all shoot well, I would choose the 270 and the 300.

Kind of interesting idea, a good one at that.

Thinking I might end up with only one rifle, I'd definitely take the .270 and the 7mm-08. The .300WM would be a better choice for the Mulies than the 7mm-08, but not by much, and it's not going to offer as much in the pronghorn department as the 7mm will. The .270win is a great "do it all" rifle, and naturally should be on everyone's list.

Whatever shoots the best. Won't make much difference out of the three. I would definately push more for the 300 since a mulie is involved. One, its a trip that is not in your backyard. Hense, most people want more knockdown. You may only get one good shot on a mulie that week. If you lived there, it wouldn't matter much to ya.
