a good deal?

yesterday i bought a marlin mod.30 30/30 w/ see through scope mounts adn a weaver k-4 scope. i bought it for $250. so was it a good deal or what?

how much does the gun go for normally just by its self?

I saw this gun new for $299 with scope. But it's a cheap simmons scope probably worth about $30 by itself. I would say that's not to bad.

If the rifle and scope are in excellent conditon, then it's a good deal. I'm trying to sell a 336CS 30-30 with the mounts but no scope for $200.00 now.
