Default Pumpgun Question

I'm looking at an ithaca M87 shotgun at my local toy store and was wondering if anyone knows the difference between this and the M37. I couldn't find any differences myself but was wondering if anyone knew for fact what it was.

The only differance between the 37 and the 87 is the 87 has a sear disconnector that doesn't work very well. It was suppose to eleminate the "slam fire" ability of the gun. Some woeked but most didn't.

In fact Ithica discontinued the 87 and went back to the original design with out the disconnector as a result of the poor design. If you can, buy a 37 instead.
